MANUKURA is a place where students and staff work to exemplify the MANUKURA ethos. There is a focus on building student confidence and pride with an ability to inspire and guide others. Excellence is a normalised expectation for students and staff within a MANUKURA cultural framework. MANUKURA provides a varied curriculum which supports students to create greater opportunities in academic, sporting, and cultural pursuits using a combination of high quality coaches, teachers, and mentors.
For a student to learn effectively, many pieces need to fall into place – the school environment, their home environment, and the student’s physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. Sometimes one of those areas needs support to bridge the gap to the student’s success. MANUKURA offers quality support for each student through lead staff that assist with the planning of each students individualised pathway plan. Catch ups are frequent to ensure proper support for each student to ensure a development of agentic learners with cultural competencies.
